"Hey Joan! Please do not trail behind the group! You may get devoured by the wild animals that roam among these forests!" Instructor Kenneth called out to me.
"Ok! I will not!"I replied breathlessly. It was tiring, climbing up the mountains.
"Students! We have reached the second resting stop of the day, have a ten minutes rest and we shall continue on our hike." Instructor Kenneth called out to the whole group of students who were already whooping away with joy of able to rest.
After we have our rest.we were still left with some time and all the students were chatting away with their friends. Instructer Kenneth thought of resuming the hike but seeing our exhausted faces, changed his mind and decided to give us more time to rest. As I was feeling bored, I decided to wander about a little, near to the resting point.
As I wandered further and further away from the resting point, the voices and laughter of my fellow students could not be heard anymore. It was silent,except for the occasional chirping of the cricket in the distance.The atmosphere was eerie.My pulse started running faster and faster. Suddenly,I felt something creeping up my back. I tried to run but stumbled over the root of a huge tree and knocked my head on the trail of the forest. Everything blacked out...
